Position Details:
--- Title: Commercial Boiler Technician
--- Location: Northern VA/DC metro
--- Shift: M-F 7-330pm
--- Compensation: $50-60/hr. + $4800k in Employee-Equity

customer sites
Position Description:
A Commercial Boiler Technician is responsible for installing,
maintaining, and repairing various types of commercial boilers to
ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety regulations.
This role requires a strong understanding of boiler systems,
mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve
issues efficiently. The technician will work closely with clients
to assess their needs, provide recommendations, and perform routine
maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize
performance.
--- Run service calls of various degrees of complexity and
difficulty
--- Install, maintain, and repair commercial boiler systems and
equipment
--- Provide emergency services to the entire service area (when
necessary)
--- Sell preventive maintenance contracts and system add-on items
(when necessary)
--- Sell replacement systems (when necessary)
--- Maintain truck stock and inventory
--- Follow truck maintenance schedule and keep an organized and
clean truck/workspace
--- Must have good communication skills, be detail oriented, be
able to complete paperwork in a timely manner, ability to work with
minimal supervision and report to job assignment.
--- Be able to complete monthly reports, work with Microsoft Word,
and Excel
Requirements:
--- 5+ year experience with commercial boiler systems, and
willingness to continue education in the field and maintain
industry standards.
--- DC3 or Master License in commercial boiler systems
--- Valid driver's license.
--- Understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC
principles.
--- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and codes (e.g.,
ASME, NFPA).
--- Excellent communication skills and an customer satisfaction
focused mentality.
