Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities









Iridium seeks an exceptional entry level Engineer to participate in the development, implementation, and verification of requirements for the Iridium communication system and Iridium services. An Engineering education and/or demonstrated work experience in Systems Engineering practices, as well as a desire to build leadership skills, is necessary for success in this position. The ideal candidate will also interact with, monitor, and provide guidance to third party developers and contracted engineering companies. The ideal candidate will also have a vested interest in the long-term success of their work, with a keen desire to learn, and will be highly self-reliant. What You'll Do:

• Work with different project engineers on requirements management, including learning the tools and processes, and entering, modifying, organizing, and exporting reports
• Assist in writing requirements and specifications
• Support engineering analysis for different aspects of the assigned projects
• Support systems engineering technical interchange meetings
• Assist in chart preparation for project reviews and other meetingsSkills You'll Obtain:

        Things You Must Bring to the Table:
        • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
        • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelors or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution, preferably in Engineering
