ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support
elementary students in the Baltimore area, MD. This contract
position runs from mid-February through late May 2026, with the
possibility of extension into a summer ESY program in July. The
role requires servicing two elementary schools with a caseload
consisting of students from Pre-K through 5th grade. Key
Responsibilities: Provide speech and language support services to
students aged Pre-K to 5th grade. Collaborate with school staff and
families to create and implement individualized support plans.
Maintain documentation in compliance with district policies and
professional standards. Participate in professional development and
school meetings as needed. Adhere to state licensure and district
credentialing requirements. Qualifications: Active Maryland
Professional Licensure in Speech Language Pathology Assistance.
Completion of district background check, fingerprinting, and
employment history review per House Bill 486. Prior experience
working with elementary-aged children preferred. Availability to
work typically Monday through Friday, splitting time between two
schools: Magnolia Elementary (3 days/week) and Prospect Mill
Elementary (2 days/week). Commitment to a 37.5-hour workweek and
flexibility for assigned school days. Location: Baltimore area,
Maryland (Magnolia Elementary and Prospect Mill Elementary).
