Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
support K-12 students within a well-established public school
system in Rockville, MD. This contract position is designed to
cover leave absences across multiple schools, providing valuable
speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities include delivering individualized speech-language
therapy to students based on assessments and IEP goals. You will
work closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop
and implement effective treatment plans. The schedule involves a
37.5-hour workweek and may require travel between multiple school
locations. Assignments begin mid-February to May with an end date
in June 2026, covering various days per week depending on the
specific school placement. Key qualifications and experience: -
Active Maryland license for Speech-Language Pathology - CCC-SLP
(Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred - Experience working
in school settings with students from K-12 - Ability to deliver
speech and language therapy in person (virtual candidates will not
be considered) - Strong communication skills and collaboration
experience with educators and families Caseload assignments
include: - Dayton Oaks Elementary (5 days/week starting
mid-February) - Ellicott Mills Middle School (5 days/week starting
April) - Thomas Viaduct Middle School (4 days/week, paired starting
April) - Jeffers Hill Elementary School (1 day/week, paired
starting April) - Laurel Woods Elementary School (5 days/week
starting April) - Burleigh Manor Middle School (2 days/week, paired
starting May) - Hammond Middle School (3 days/week, paired starting
May) This contract offers the potential for continued employment
into the 2026-2027 school year based on performance and experience
with the district. Qualified professionals who hold an active
Maryland license and are interested in providing in-person

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.22 to $60.22.
