Job Description Job Description Position Overview Since 1994,

including DoD personnel, international corporations, and

services. We are a trusted, high?performance team, and we’re
looking for an experienced, career?driven Load Planner to oversee
and coordinate long?haul operational activities. This role ensures
maximum efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction while
maintaining daily communication with customers, crews, and internal
teams. Key Responsibilities Operational Planning & Shipment
Management - Evaluate shipment offers for logistical feasibility
and profitability; determine acceptance or rejection. - Schedule,
staff, and equip long?distance jobs to ensure timely and profitable
service delivery. - Actively source shipments and backhaul
opportunities (load boards, partners, etc.) to maximize fleet
utilization. Relationship & Communication Management - Build and
maintain strong relationships with business partners to support
consistent workflow and growth. - Communicate with
shippers—verbally and in writing—regarding shipment status and
updates. - Coordinate daily with internal staff, customers, and
external partners on job progress, issue resolution, and payment
status. Personnel & Fleet Oversight - Manage Long Distance
Department personnel, including planners, coordinators,
dispatchers, and assistants. - Monitor vehicle maintenance and
repairs to ensure operational readiness. - Ensure tracking devices
are installed and functioning properly on all over?the?road units
for continuous monitoring. Administrative & Data Management -
Research and respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, fax,
and other channels. - Create, update, and maintain files,
databases, spreadsheets, and other operational records. Ideal
Candidates will possess the following skills - 5 years of
Logistics-related/Transportation course work, military experience,
or equivalent work-related experience - Solid leadership and
motivational abilities, along with strong organizational and
communication skills (both verbal and written) - Exceptional
problem-solving abilities along with a positive, service-oriented
attitude - Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
applications, Internet Explorer, Windows, etc. - Experience or
exposure in the household goods (HHG) and/or relocation industry is
