Loudoun County Department of Family Services is seeking dedicated, professional candidates for the Quality Improvement Specialist position. The successful candidate will be a part of a diverse department and will support our mission "to help people achieve safe and productive lives." The Quality Improvement Specialist: Coordinates the Children's Services Act (CSA) Quality Improvement Process: Executing CSA Quality Management and Improvement Plan Completes quarterly case audits Prepare report of audit findings Monitoring unit for compliance with local and state CSA policies and processes Oversees parent satisfaction survey process. Develop outcome measures and maintain statistical data for the CSA program Oversees CSA Contracts Ensure compliance with licensure, insurance and other requirements of contracts with providers Negotiates with providers on rates, in coordination with the Community Policy & Management Team (CPMT) Finance Committee and CSA Administrator. Initiates new provider contracts as necessary. Harmony MIS Responsible for various CSA reports that are provided for Performance Metrics, reporting to the Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT), and uploading required data to the OCS website.To successfully present this data, the Quality Improvement Specialist is responsible for monitoring Harmony data - involving case management, budget monitoring and Provider information. Completes special projects as assigned, independently or as a member of a team. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business or Contract Management, Business Administration or related field with 3 years of professional work experience in Quality Improvement, Contracts or Project Management. Knowledge and experience with continuous quality improvement best practices and policy compliance; ability to collect and synthesize statistical information; develop and implement outcome measures; prepare reports; analyze state and local policy as it relates to assigned job responsibilities. Knowledge and experience with contract management and related payment processes. Able to work independently with MIS systems, electronic records and data management programs; ability to write and communicate ideas clearly, concisely and effectively; establish collaborative relationships with fellow employees, other agency employees, internal and external CSA customers and county managers/directors. The successful candidate must demonstrate technical proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, and Outlook. Candidate must have experience providing technical support for computer-based business processes. Experience with project management a plus. Employment is contingent on the successful results of background, credit and DMV checks.
