Therapy Supervisor is responsible for daily clinical operations of
respiratory therapy services. The Supervisor will support staff by
being a resource. He/she provides education and training, interacts
with physicians and other departments to improve patient care, is
responsible for safety and quality in all aspects of services
provided. He/she ensures availability of necessary equipment and

RequiredBachelors Healthcare Administration or related field
preferredExperience6 Years Healthcare/Medical - Respiratory Therapy
(RRT & CRTT)RRT required YearsCertification & LicensuresVA
Respiratory care practitioner license RequiredBLS Certification
(Basic Life Support) - American Heart Healthcare Provider (HCP) -
AHA approved required ** New hires must have American Heart
Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of
orientation.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or
Rhythm & Med. certification RequiredNeonatal Resuscitation Program
(NRP) certification RequiredQualificationsStrong leadership and
motivational skills.Assists in day to day operations of the
department.Must demonstrate clinical expertise in all areas and all
equipment from neonate to adult.Ability to handle moderate to high
stressful situations in a calm and conscientious manner.Excellent
communication skills.Demonstrates competency and performs
consistently under non-routine conditions and complex
situations.Coaches others on performance and suggests ideas for
development.Ensures department's standard of practice along with
policies and procedures.Models behavior in alignment with the
